Automatic HLS encoding
Every video is encoded for streaming. Paid plans produce an adaptive multi-quality ladder up to 4K (never above the quality of your source); the Free plan streams a single quality.
Embed with one iframe
Each video gets a player page and an embed code you can paste into any site. Autoplay, mute and loop can be set per embed.
Control where it plays
List the domains where the player may be embedded, ban countries and IP addresses, and use signed links that expire. An empty domain list allows every site.
Delivery from the edge
Videos are served from a global network of edge locations, with each viewer routed to the nearest node.
Clear traffic accounting
See traffic per day and per file. Each plan has a monthly traffic allowance, and extra traffic can be added at any time.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a free plan?
Yes. You can start on the Free plan with no payment and no time limit. It has lower storage, traffic, file-size and quality limits than paid plans, ads are always shown to viewers, and files that nobody opens for a set number of days are removed. The current numbers are on the Pricing page.
Can I serve the player from my own domain?
No. UFOLOAD does not offer custom domains: the player is served from UFOLOAD hostnames. You can restrict which sites may embed it and put your own logo on the player.
How do I embed a video on my site?
Every video has a player page and an embed code. Paste the iframe into your page; the stream is HLS and plays at the quality that suits each viewer.
Which upload formats are supported?
Twelve formats are accepted, including MP4, MKV, AVI and WEBM. Videos are encoded for streaming after upload.
Are ads shown in the player?
On the Free plan ads are always shown to viewers. On paid plans it is your choice: use pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll, banner or click-under ads, or switch ads off.
How do I pay for a plan?
Prices are in US dollars. You pay through CryBit or from your UFOLOAD balance, once for the whole period. Nothing renews automatically.
